First brick was developed, called Automatic Binding bricks. The material, Cellulose Acetate, limited the brick colors and designs.

STUD-AND-TUBE-COUPLING BRICK with LEGO logo on it was developed. Brick material was refined after 5 years, which was called ABS (Acrylinitrile Butadiene Styrene)

LEGO® DUPLO® was specially designed for 2-4 years pre-school children. Its brick size was 8 times larger than LEGO System brick, that enables children easy carrying.

First design of LEGO® figure was establwashed. Both the hands and heads were movable, while the body and legs were built by bricks. LEGO® figure became the most popular LEGO products. Minifigure, the better design of LEGO figure was created in 1978. The 30th year birthday of figure is 2008.

LEGO products in-lined with movie themes, Star Wars™ product line was developed then.  

Because of the success of Star Wars™, more movie themes were developed, such as Harry Potter™, Spider-man™ , Batman™ and Indiana Jones™ series.
